FUSE'D FEATURE: Outer Banks Destination Wedding

When Amanda and Ethan got engaged, they had no idea where they wanted to get married! Ethan grew up in San Diego, Amanda in Philly, and they currently lived in the Midwest. Families were all over the country, so finding the perfect, most convenient location was difficult to say the least! Amanda grew up vacationing at the Outer Banks and Ethan spent most of his time on the beach, so they soon realized the Outer Banks gave them the coastal wedding they were both looking for. Since most of the guests were from out of town, The Black Stallion was the most perfect location for the wedding. Not only was there a beautiful reception space and separate pool house, there were 26 guest rooms for all of the guests to relax and stay. Amanda dreamed of a chic coastal wedding and wanted every aspect of the wedding to reflect just that. The Whalehead Club provided the most perfect backdrop for the ceremony --- gorgeous views of the Sound with breathtaking architecture. The day of the wedding, it rained and rained and rained! We were waiting until the last second to determine if the wedding ceremony should be moved indoors. We decided to gamble with Mother Nature and as it turned out, it rained until 5 minutes before the ceremony. Mother Nature was good to us --- as soon as Amanda got out of the car, the rained stopped. We could not have asked for a more beautiful ceremony and reception that the guests will be talking about for years!
